Mailgen is perhaps a new leap in email marketing innovation.  It has everything you need in one, easy-to-manage email marketing software.  It’s a great way to find results for your business and a new way to create leads.  You’ll be able to send email messages to hundreds, if not thousands of your contacts in a bright, colorful and expansive way.  Mailgen is a fantastic way to generate your message across many avenues.

EASE OF USE

Navigation makes it easy to populate emails.  Mailgen is admittedly favorable to those with a little more experience with email marketing software, but it’s good to see that those who do not have a background in computer software can still find great use in the available tools.  The HTML and XHTML coding of the email templates can be manipulated for further enhancement, but for the most part, all you need to do is insert the text and images you would like and let the software of Mailgen do the rest.  Additionally, uploading your contacts is easy as pie.  You’ll just need to configure the contacts you have from your current service provider with Mailgen.  An outline of how to do this is available on the site.  There are more advanced options available with the software such as separating the contacts you upload into specific distribution lists. Overall, the balance between user-friendly features and advanced options seems fair.

FUNCTIONALITY

Mailgen utilizes WYSIWIG (What you see is what you get) technology at its core.  That simply means you can customize your template and the platform will distribute it for you, as is.  Fortunately, there are many of these templates to choose from.  First, upload your contacts from your email service provider, and along with that, delineate these contacts into specific lists for distribution.  Then choose a template to populate the WYSIWIG template with all your information and images in order to get the best effect.  Next send emails to your specific distribution lists, followed by integrating the email content with your social media platforms.  In order to improve your efforts in the next go around, yo should generate reports to see results.  Mailgen also supports CRM compatibility, bounce rate click ratios and conversion tracking.  That doesn’t even include deliverability rate and spam testing.
